Amazeon
Since the mid-1990s, Placht had been developing the idea of a project that would bring together living Indigenous traditions, the extensive knowledge of Amazonian nature passed down through generations and applied in everyday life, the world of myths and legends, as well as the cultural contributions of Western civilization. One of its central themes was, naturally, drawing attention to the rapidly advancing and insensitive process of deforestation.
The Amazeon project was conceived as a spiritual, artistic, and activist center with a multicultural mission:
"On a broader level, Amazeon is a gateway to the rainforest ecosystem and all of its layers, including the spiritual one. In this respect, the project is not limited in any way; it embraces all inhabitants (living beings) of this environment. At the same time, it is intended to serve as a meeting place—a place where people from different parts of the world, who care about preserving this unique biosphere, can come together."
